Some people ask what I use to make my podcasts and videos. So I will make a fancier page later, but for now, here is a quick rundown of what I use and the links to where you can buy them at. Some links will be affiliate links, so any purchase you make with the affiliate link will help further improve my life and that of my poor, neglected family!

Webcam/Video Interviews

Logitech HD Pro Webcam c920 ($70)
You want quality with full 1080p HD?  This one is a world class webcam.  Great for Google Hangouts and Skype calls.  Full 180 HD Video with widescreen capabilities.

Sony Handycam HDR-PJ650
When I wanted to upgrade to a “PROsumer” HD videocam, I watched what the others in the media pool used at a major sporting I was shooting at and saw this was popular with them. They were right. Worth the extra $$  to get nearly professional camera quality yet still be in consumer price range.

Tascam DR-40 Digital Recorder ($180)
I recently upgraded to this little magical machine and I love it!  2 Internal mics, 2 external XML Mic inputs.  Onboard EQ, mixer and so many other features I have yet to even touch..

Sony MDR-7506 Headphones ($85)
These were the toughest to buy.  But if I were going all in with video and would be spending hours watching and listening to video or audio, I wanted to be comfortable without breaking the bank.  So I went back to my professional buddies and this was popular with several of my peers that I trust.  Yes, its worth the price.
