Dolly – Permission to Dream

For those who have followed my writings and my presentations, you know I am big on dreams.  Having dreams, doing what you love and all that.  Because I believe that’s the way to happiness.  To be happy is to do what you love to do.  Make a business out of it and let it go.

When I am asked what makes a great entrepreneur, I always answer that it is being able to dream.  To have a dream and to take that dream, believe in it and yourself and make that dream a reality.

Not only does that make a great entrepreneur, it also makes a happy, healthy and wealthy entrepreneur. It’s not about the money, the money is just a side reward for having dreams and making those dreams come true.

For those of us who never learned how to dream or in the world of everyday struggles and disappointments, forgot how to dream, I would like to give you some nourishment.  What will follow over the next couple of posts are some  videos of people you can learn from.  See what can happen when you dream and never let anybody else steal your dreams.

The first one is an interview on 60 Minutes of Country Superstar Dolly Parton.   No matter what you may think of her or her music, put that aside and listen to the person and listen to the story. Learn from others who have been where you are and where you want to be.
